Champagne Gondé Rousseaux

Young passionate winegrower, Florian Gondé has been working in the Champagne vineyard for more than 10 years. In 2013, he took over the management of Champagne Gondé-Rousseaux of which he is the cellar master.

Driven by a real desire to reduce the environmental footprint, he elaborates his champagnes with the same ecological conviction and the desire to enhance his terroir. Since 2013, he has been committed to practicing a viticulture without strong chemical input, to progressively move towards a biodynamic viticulture. The estate is certified HVE, VDC and a conversion to organic viticulture is underway. The first organic vintage will be released in 2022!

Founded in 1976 by Edith Rousseaux and Didier Gondé, Champagne Gondé-Rousseaux works a surface of 3.96 hectares in the vineyard of Taissy, in the heart of the Montagne de Reims. For Florian Gondé, each of the vineyard parcels is unique. "Our most beautiful reward is to succeed in transmitting to the taster our feeling of the vineyard and its typicity in exceptional wines", he shares.
