Champagne Ariston Jean-Antoine

Champagne Ariston Jean-Antoine

In the heart of the verdant Ardre valley, in the small village of Brouillet, the Ariston family runs a vineyard of around 7.5 hectares. History almost put an end to the family winegrowing adventure, however, as most of the vines were destroyed during the Great War.

Fortunately, the estate was given a new lease of life in the 1960s, when Geneviève Ariston, her husband François (a retired schoolteacher) and her children decided to replant and farm their plots once again. One of the sons, Jean-Antoine, gave his name to the brand before passing the torch to subsequent generations. Today, his son Bruno and his wife Patricia carry on the family tradition, alongside their son Charles-Antoine, who joined them in 2010, and his partner Angélique. Together, they proudly bear the colors of an authentic estate on a human scale.

Among the estate's wines, the Blanc de Blancs Vieilles Vignes is the perfect reflection of the Ardre Valley's renowned chalky subsoil. Refined and delicate, this 100% Chardonnay cuvée goes perfectly with fish-based recipes or seafood platters.
