Champagne Rousseaux-Batteux

The Rousseaux family has been running the vineyard since the end of the 18th century, in Verzenay, classified Grand Cru. The first bottles were marketed at the beginning of the 20th century under the name of Paul Rousseaux. Michel, his son, developed handling. Denis, his grandson, created the current Rousseaux-Batteux brand in 1976 with his wife Laurence, niece of Albert Batteux, the famous football coach of the great Reims stadium and the French team Adrien, the 4th generation of "Rousseaux", nowadays elaborates the different vintages in the respect of traditions.
