Elodie's ancestors began cultivating vines in Ecueil (Montagne de Reims) in 1692 and in 1844 they made their first Champagne. For almost a century, it has been only women who run the Champagne house. Elodie Desbordes is the 5th generation of women at the head of the company, she took over the family business with her brand Elodie D. Passionate about her profession, Elodie Desbordes works in harmony with nature. In 2017, Champagne Elodie D. obtained the sustainable viticulture (VD) and high environmental value (HVE) certification for its vineyard Possibility to visit the vineyard, the press and the cellars by appointment.
