Champagne Florence Duchêne
Located in the charming village of Cumières, Champagne Florence Duchêne cultivates 56 parcels in the Marne Valley, on either side of the river, from Aÿ to Châtillon-sur-Marne. On these UNESCO World Heritage-listed hillsides, the family strives to cultivate its vineyards responsibly and sensitively. Born into a family with deep roots in the vineyards, Florence Duchêne is passionate about continuing the work of her ancestors. After studying foreign languages and international business, she returned to the family estate in 2011 with the desire to bring a form of spirituality and simplicity to the wines. Her husband Vincent joined her and her father in 2012. That same year, they decided to create the Florence Duchêne brand, which marks the beginning of her life as a winemaker in white chalk. Champagne Florence Duchêne offers a range of 6 unique cuvées. From the moment they are conceived, the wines are pampered in the cellars to benefit from optimal ageing conditions. The result? Wines with a gastronomic identity to grace the world's finest tables! The 100% Chardonnay, single-vineyard, vintage Maputi cuvée is a perfect match for the exceptional aromas of truffles. It was created to celebrate the birth of Eléonore, one of the couple?s two daughters, hence its poetic name meaning "child".
