Champagne Briaux Lenique
Champagne Briaux Lenique is a family estate located in Mardeuil, in the heart of the Marne Valley, 3km from Epernay. Created in 1965 by Pol Briaux and Christiane Lenique, it was taken over in 2008 by their daughter Nathalie who works 4 ha of vines all planted around the village, with a mix of Pinot Meunier (50%), Chardonnay (30%) and Pinot Noir (20%) in sustainable viticulture. Stéphanie joined her sister Nathalie in 2016. Together, they offer five Cuvées of character, each expressing a majority of the three grape varieties of the terroir. Important work has been undertaken since 2016 in order to improve the production premises (vat room, cellar and press) and the reception of the customers but also to adapt the working tool to the handicap of Nathalie who is in a wheelchair.
