Champagne Binon Coquard
Champagne Binon-Coquard is first and foremost a family of winegrowers who have lived in Spoy for several generations. They make their cuvées from the finest blends of their plots of land. Maxime and Cyrielle, the generation at the helm, combine technology, user-friendliness, audacity and a taste for novelty, while remaining attached to ancestral values. They carry out all the work; from the vineyard to marketing, including winemaking. The 6.5 hectare vineyard extends over several communes to the south of Troyes: Spoy, Meurville and Champignol lez Mondeville. The soils are clay-limestone on Kimmeridgian, which gives all its typicity to the Pinot Noir, the majority grape variety on the estate (70%). These winegrowers also cultivate Pinot Meunier (20%) and Chardonnay (10%), the two other Champagne grape varieties. The environmental approach is important for this Terra Vitis certified house since 2012.
