Champagne Alfred Gratien
Alfred Gratien founded the house that bears his name in 1864. Nicolas Jaeger, Cellar Master, remains faithful to the founder's philosophy: rigorous selection of grapes, vinification in small oak barrels, maximum 300,000 bottles per year and respect for the terroir. Every year, he ensures the best harvests of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier grapes. After six months of ageing in 228-litre oak barrels, which guarantee the preservation of fruit aromas and authenticity, the wines are blended. The vintage champagnes are aged in bottles with natural cork stoppers.
