Welcome to the Champagne Bureau, USA
The Champagne Bureau located in Washington, DC, is the U.S. representative of the Comité Champagne, the trade association that represents all the grape growers and houses of Champagne, France. The Bureau works to educate US consumers about the uniqueness of the wines of Champagne and expand their understanding of the importance location plays in the creation of all wines. We are intently focused on ensuring Champagne is properly protected in the United States, as it is in most of the rest of the world.

The Champagne Bureau, USA hosted two student education seminars at Johnson & Wales University on January 28 in Miami, Florida. There were 80 students who attended, all of whom are enrolled in the university’s beverage program. The seminars were led by Lyn Farmer, a widely published and James Beard Foundation Award-winning writer on wine and food, and Director of VeritageMiami. Lyn spoke about the uniqueness of the Champagne region, explained the aromas associated with different types of Champagne, and recommended food pairings to enjoy with the unique sparkling wine.
