The Champagne Bureau located in Washington, DC, is the U.S. representative of the Comité Champagne, the trade association that represents all the grape growers and houses of Champagne, France. The Bureau works to educate US consumers about the uniqueness of the wines of Champagne and expand their understanding of the importance location plays in the creation of all wines. We are intently focused on ensuring Champagne is properly protected in the United States, as it is in most of the rest of the world.

On Monday, July 16, the Champagne Bureau hosted an education seminar at Air’s Champagne Parlor in New York City. Attendees included sommeliers, importers, and wine store owners who are familiar with Champagne and its unique qualities. The educator, Ariel Arce, provided detailed information for each wine as she served the wines and told stories about her visits to the Champagne region. There was discussion over trends in the wine industry and how the participants felt about the different types of Champagne that were served. The participants received education materials during the seminar and Bureau director Jenn Hall spoke about the mission of the Bureau in the U.S.
