There were 80 students who attended, all of whom are enrolled in the university’s beverage program. The seminars were led by Lyn Farmer, a widely published and James Beard Foundation Award-winning writer on wine and food, and Director of VeritageMiami. Lyn spoke about the uniqueness of the Champagne region, explained the aromas associated with different types of Champagne, and recommended food pairings to enjoy with the unique sparkling wine.
