Welcome to the Champagne Bureau, USA
The Champagne Bureau located in Washington, DC, is the U.S. representative of the Comité Champagne, the trade association that represents all the grape growers and houses of Champagne, France. The Bureau works to educate US consumers about the uniqueness of the wines of Champagne and expand their understanding of the importance location plays in the creation of all wines. We are intently focused on ensuring Champagne is properly protected in the United States, as it is in most of the rest of the world.

The Champagne Bureau, USA, partnered with New York wine educator, John Bandman, to host a Champagne education seminar for the Sommelier Society Of America in New York City. The education seminar was held at the University Club for wine trade professionals, including those who work in restaurants, bars, and in retail. Bandman is also a wine educator at the French Wine Society and the Art Institute of New York City with a special focus on Champagne. During the seminar, trade professionals had the chance to try a variety of Champagne and build on their understanding of the importance of protecting the Champagne name in the United States.
