In July 2015, the Champagne Hillsides, Houses, and Cellars were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, honoring centuries of winemaking traditions, expertise, and exceptional landscapes. The 10th-anniversary celebration will take place on July 4, 2025, in Champillon, within the historic hillsides.

Celebration Program

The program for this memorable evening includes a giant picnic among the Champagne vineyards, concerts, live performances, and a sound and light show where the Champagne sky will light up with drones. A key highlight of the day will be the official signing of a new management plan in Hautvillers, embodying a commitment to sustainable management, balancing heritage preservation with modernity.

A Collective Anniversary

For Séverine Couvreur, president of the Hillsides, Houses, and Cellars of Champagne Mission, this event celebrates a decade of collective pride and initiatives to protect and showcase this unique heritage. “This anniversary is much more than a symbolic event: it reflects the deep connection of locals and Champagne lovers to their heritage. It is a fantastic opportunity to come together, reflect on the progress made, and imagine and shape the future together.

An Evening of Sharing

The event is expected to bring together over 5,000 participants in an atmosphere of festivity, elegance, and sharing. Champagne, lights and music will converge to honor the Champagne heritage and chart the path for the next ten years. Together, under the stars and dressed in white and gold, attendees will proudly celebrate belonging to this exceptional region.
