Created in 2005 by the Champagne Committee, the “Concours Européen des Ambassadeurs du Champagne” - European Champagne Ambassadors’ Awards Competition - is designed to honour the professionals who contribute to improving knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the diversity of Champagne wines by conducting training activities.
The Competition is open to nine countries, and can be entered by anyone whose profession is to transmit knowledge of wine: teachers in hotel schools or private training centres, tasting club organisers, authors of publications in the training field. Whether they are sommeliers, oenologists or amateurs who have become professionals, all candidates for the competition must practise their training activities in one of the participating countries: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.
Luc Rabuel is the winner of the french final. All the news
